Connecting you with your environment
The download version of the EcoConnect software is exactly the same as the Click Once Launch version. The difference is in the installation process. The Launch version is very convenient as it ensures that when you start the application (i.e. Launch EcoConnect from the web page),you are using the most up to date version of the software. If a newer version than that which you have been using is available, it will automatically download to your computer. Unlike the Click Once Launch version of the software, the Download version is installed on you computer using a standard Windows installation process. Under this scenario, the user is responsible for ensuring that the installed version is the most recent available. If you decide not to upgrade when a new version becomes available, NIWA can not guarantee that the old version will continue to work properly or be supported.
